Terms of Service

These terms may be updated from time to time.
1. Introduction
These Terms of Service govern your use of MO Menu, a digital menu and in-restaurant QR ordering platform. By using MO Menu, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you should not use the platform.
2. About MO Menu
MO Menu allows restaurants to create digital menus, generate QR codes, receive in-restaurant table orders, and display restaurant information. Customers can browse menus, scan QR codes, join table sessions, place in-restaurant orders, save favorites, and view order history.
3. No Delivery Platform
MO Menu is not an online food delivery platform. We do not provide delivery services, drivers, delivery tracking, or delivery address management. Orders placed through MO Menu are intended for customers physically present at the restaurant unless otherwise clearly stated by the restaurant.
4. User Accounts
Customers and restaurant users may create accounts using email/password or supported third-party login options such as Google Sign-In. You are responsible for keeping your account details secure and for all activity under your account.
5. Restaurant Accounts
Restaurants are responsible for the accuracy of their profiles, menus, prices, images, opening hours, QR codes, staff permissions, and order handling. MO Menu may review, approve, reject, deactivate, or remove restaurant profiles that violate these Terms or platform standards.
6. Menus, Prices, and Availability
Restaurants control their own menus, prices, item availability, images, and descriptions. MO Menu does not guarantee that menu items, prices, or availability are always accurate or up to date. Customers should confirm important details directly with the restaurant when necessary.
7. In-Restaurant Orders
Orders placed through table QR codes are sent to the relevant restaurant. The restaurant is responsible for accepting, preparing, serving, charging for, and resolving issues related to the order. MO Menu provides the technology platform but does not prepare or sell the food.
8. Payment
Unless a future payment feature is clearly introduced, payment is handled directly by the restaurant. MO Menu is not responsible for cash, card, bank, QR, or other payments made directly to restaurants.
9. Table Sessions and Group Ordering
When customers join a table session, items may be grouped by customer or guest name to help the table and restaurant understand who ordered what. Customers should only place orders for a table where they are physically present.
10. Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse MO Menu, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with platform security, submit false orders, upload harmful content, impersonate others, or use the service in a way that could harm MO Menu, restaurants, customers, or third parties.
11. Restaurant Content and Images
Restaurants are responsible for ensuring they have the right to upload and use logos, cover images, food photos, descriptions, and other content. MO Menu may remove content that appears unlawful, misleading, inappropriate, or infringing.
12. Advertising and Sponsored Content
MO Menu may display advertising, sponsored placements, promoted restaurants, or promoted dishes. Sponsored content may be labelled as sponsored, featured, promoted, or similar.
13. Platform Availability
We aim to keep MO Menu available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. The platform may be unavailable due to maintenance, technical issues, third-party services, or events beyond our control.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, MO Menu is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for losses arising from restaurant service, food quality, menu inaccuracies, payment disputes, customer misuse, or third-party services.
15. Account Suspension or Termination
We may suspend, restrict, or terminate access to MO Menu if we believe a user or restaurant has violated these Terms, misused the platform, created security risks, or acted unlawfully.
16. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised 'Last updated' date. Continued use of MO Menu after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
17. Governing Law
These Terms are intended to be governed by the laws of Mauritius, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
